Dear Friends,
Welcome to our 2020-2021 season—a season like none other! Ha. That’s an understatement. As we move into our 28th year of bringing you entertaining, meaningful, and exciting concerts, the Karen Schuessler Singers still rehearses online with you in mind to bring you joy and wonder in this season of separation.
We start with I Dream a World: An Online Concert of Hope on November 21. Hope is paramount to navigating our world at this time. To help us explore its prime importance for our future, we will feature music by Ola Gjeilo, Oscar Peterson, Rodgers & Hammerstein, and more.
Next we bring you Where Is Love? The Foundation of Our World on April 17. We explore the many facets of Love, including the drive for two things to come together at the heart of nature and the cosmos, and why we yearn to feel at one with our world. Music by Morten Lauridsen, Pete Seeger, from Missa Gaia, and more.
And, lastly this season, starting on June 5, À la Carte! A concert all about food! What’s not to like? Music by Lionel Bart, classic folksong, Les Mis, and general hilarity!
Feel free to sign up below for email notices so you stay up to date. And as we expect to have no ticket revenue this season, we ask that you kindly consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us continue to Sing Joy!
Stay safe, and stay well,
Karen
