Grace Yip – Pianist

As a pianist for numerous choirs in London, Grace strives to create beautiful music with every one of her ensembles.

In addition to accompanying the Karen Schuessler Singers, Grace is also the pianist for the London Singers, H.B. Beal Singers, St. Mary Choir and Orchestra School, and Medway High School.

Grace has also worked for other choirs including London Pro Musica, Catholic Central High School, Canadian Celtic Choir, and has played for other groups on occasion such as King’s University College Choir, Pride Men’s Chorus, Amabile choirs, Schola Sancti Pauli. She has also performed with members of London Symphonia for community concerts and with the FSA Strings and FSA soloists at First-St. Andrew’s United Church for their “Music at First-St. Andrew’s” Concert Series. She has also performed as a guest pianist for Wesley-Knox United church on occasion as well.

Grace earned her B.Mus from the University of Saskatchewan and her M.Mus from Western University. Her teachers have included Carol McWilliams, Robin Harrison, Kathleen Solose, Ronald Turini, and André Laplante for summer masterclasses at the Orford Arts Centre during her university years.

In addition to her work as a choral pianist, Grace is also the Music Minister at St. Anne’s Anglican Church Byron and the choir director at Church of the Transfiguration Anglican.
