Dear Friends,
We are so thrilled to be back singing together in person! And we are excited to be able to sing for you again, in a live concert experience!
The overarching theme of our 2021–2022 season is “The Beat Goes On”, and that, indeed, is the title of our first concert. “The Beat Goes On” is a tribute to the importance of music for all of us during the past year and a half, whether we were listening or singing along to inspiring YouTube videos, or whether we were dancing and grooving around the kitchen, music was there, lifting our spirits and giving us hope.
Our second concert, “Sing Joy”, will feature special guests from other cultures as we sing out testaments to the power of the human spirit. And our third concert this season will be…finally…at long last, “Raisin’ the Roof”, with London’s own Heartaches Stringband. This concert was postponed twice for the pandemic, but this is the season! And we’re excited to share with you the toe-tapping, good-feeling of their unique style!
